Abstract from Analytical Abstracts 2001

The network “Speciation 21” was funded by the European Commission's Standards, Measurement and Testing Programme and its members included analytical chemists working in speciation method development, potential users in industry and representatives of legislative agencies. The group identified various areas in the fields of environment, food and occupational hygiene where elemental speciation and fractionation analysis is required. A summary of these findings is presented. (39 references).
