A metallated primary arsine; synthesis and structure of [PhAsHLi·2thf ]

Abstract

The lithium primary arsenide [PhAsHli·2thf]∞, obtained by reaction of nBuLi with PhAsH2 in toluene-thf, crystal-lises in the form of helical polymers; the structure of the right-hand enantiomorph has been obtained.
