Enzymic synthesis of cyclothiomaltins
Abstract
The effective conversion of 4-thio-α-maltosyl fluoride 1 into cyclothiomaltins 2, 3 and 4, using cyclodextrin glycosyltransferase enzymes from Bacillus circulans, is described.
