SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE
Solutions of Mg(NCS)2 in methanol contain an equimolar mixture of free thiocyanate and the complex [Mg(NCS)]+. The complex exists in two forms, with or without a hydrogen bond from the sulfur atom to a solvent molecule.
