A di-iron–anthracene complex via ultrasonics

Abstract

Ultrasonics can be used to make the novel di-iron–anthracene complex, Fe2(µ,η33-anthracene)(CO)6, the crystal structure of which reveals a new mode of activation for the anthracene ligand.
