Intercalation of a large iron sulphur cation into TaS2 by ion exchange with a dispersion of the disulphide
Abstract
The new intercalation compound [Fe6S8(PEt3)3]0.05TaS2 has been synthesized by flocculation of TaS2– layers dispersed in water–N-methylformamide; the orientation of the intercalated cluster was determined from the 00l X-ray diffraction intensities.
