Simple dilution flask for flame atomic spectrometry

Abstract

A method is proposed for the preparation of calibration graphs and examination of interference effects in flame atomic spectrometry. A small glass dilution flask is described that allows the preparation of solutions by the stepwise dilution of a single initial solution. An example is given of the determination of some selected elements by atomic absorption spectrometry.
