The reactions of some azides with an anionic phosphorus(III) complex

Abstract

The first example of a Staudinger reaction involving an anionic phosphorus(III) species is reported; the 31P chemical shift and reactivity of the resulting product indicate the formation of a novel iminophosphoranide(V).
