Synthesis and characterisation of some organo(imino-oxy)silanes

Abstract

Oximes form monomeric complexes, MenSi(ON:CR1R2)4 –n(n= 0–3), which appear to be tetrahedral, except for the derivatives, Me3SiON:CHR (R = 2-pyridyl or 4-pyridyl) which appear to be five-co-ordinate.
