A modified Fuoss-Kirkwood approach for asymmetrical dielectric loss curves

Abstract

The Fuoss–Kirkwood approach for describing the broadening of some experimental dielectric loss curves can be used for symmetrical loss curves only. A simple modification makes the Fuoss-Kirkwood approach suitable also for asymmetrical dielectric loss curves. The necessary condition as well as the procedure are discussed.
