Retracted Article: Dipyrrolyl-bis-sulfonamide chromophore based probe for anion recognition

Abstract

A new receptor based on dipyrrolyl-bis-sulfonamide (DPBS) has been described. The colorimetric and long range UV investigation properties of this receptor reveal that it recognised biologically important anions such as F, H2PO4, AcO in chloroform. The sensing capabilities of the receptor DPBS for these anions were determined by means of florescence and 1H-NMR spectroscopy.
