About ChemComm Symposia
ChemComm Symposia aim to bring together scientists in a stimulating and friendly environment that fosters collaborations between the researchers and universities involved. Each Symposium is devoted to a topical area of the chemical sciences, and consists of three one-day meetings at selected locations within the host country. All ChemComm Symposia are completely free to attend.
The First ChemComm International Symposium on Polymers and Polymer Science, was held with great success in China in December 2007, with meetings in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. The symposium was extremely well attended and met with an overwhelmingly positive response from all who took part.
The Second Symposium on Supramolecular Chemistry was held in Korea in November 2008, with meetings in Seoul, Daejeon and Pohang. The symposium included international and locally-based expert speakers, showcasing the work of local universities through poster sessions.
Following this success, ChemComm and RSC Publishing are delighted to announce a return to China in 2009 for the Third ChemComm International Symposium.
