Online Chemistry Olympiad - UK Lower Sixth Students

Competition now open!

We have designed an online test for students at the end of their first year of sixth form studies. It consists of multiple choice questions presented in random order.

At the end of the test, students receive individual feedback on their performance - broken down into the main areas of chemistry. This is intended to help improve understanding and learning.

Results are automatically recorded and prizes are awarded to the best performing students each year. The competition runs from 15th June to 27th September.

The RSC also organises the selection and training of the UK team for the International Chemistry Olympiad competition. In addition a Chemistry Check-up test is available for students starting their lower sixth year.
